JMJ Tours Presents:
Mexico City Pilgrimage
Basilica Our Lady of Guadalupe • Saint Juan Diego, Tepeyac Hill and Cuautitlan • Metropolitan Cathedral • Tomb of Blessed Miguel Pro • Pyramids of Teotihuacan • Museo Nacional de Antropologia
Nearly five centuries ago, not long after the Spaniards first arrived in Mexico, a young Indian, Juan Diego, first saw the apparition of Our Lady who instructed him to have the bishop build a temple on the site and left an image of herself miraculously imprinted on his tilma, a cactus-cloth covering which should have deteriorated in 20 years. The highlight of our pilgrimage is the visit to the site of the temple, the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and see for ourselves the miraculous tilma of Juan Diego. This pilgrimage usually is for five days and four nights.
