Burgos, Spain, is a city steeped in Catholic tradition, most notably home to the magnificent Burgos Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in Europe.

Lisbon, Portugal
Lisbon, Portugal, is a city rich in Catholic tradition and the birthplace of St. Anthony of Padua, one of the Church’s most beloved saints. Pilgrims will visit his home, along with the Jerónimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing magnificent Manueline architecture. We will also see the Lisbon Cathedral, the city’s oldest church, whose Romanesque and Gothic elements reflect Lisbon’s deep Christian roots.

Fátima
Fátima is one of the world’s most important Marian shrines, where Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children in 1917 with a message of prayer and conversion. We will visit the Chapel of the Apparitions, participate in the evening processions and experience the deep faith of millions who come here to honor the Blessed Mother.

Salamanca
The historic city of Salamanca is home to Spain’s oldest university and breathtaking churches, including the New Cathedral, where devotion to Mary is central. The Plaza Mayor is the most beautiful in Spain. Walking its ancient streets, pilgrims experience the living faith of Spain and its tradition of Catholic scholarship.

Ávila, home of St. Teresa of Jesus
In Ávila, pilgrims encounter the legacy of St. Teresa of Jesus, one of the Church’s great mystics and reformers. Visits to the Convent of St. Teresa and the city’s medieval walls highlight her life of prayer and reform, inspiring pilgrims to deeper friendship with Christ and Our Lady.

Lourdes and the Grotto of St. Bernadette
In Lourdes, France, Our Lady appeared to St. Bernadette in 1858, calling the world to prayer and penance. Known for its miraculous spring and healing baths, Lourdes remains a place of deep Marian devotion, where millions of pilgrims seek hope, peace, and renewed faith each year.

Paris, France
In Paris, where we will pray at the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal, site of Our Lady’s apparition to St. Catherine Labouré. Pilgrims will also experience the beauty of Paris, from the restored Notre-Dame Basilica to the iconic Eiffel Tower, blending faith, culture, and friendship.

Alba de Tormes
The Carmelite Monastery of the Annunciation is the most important site in Alba de Tormes, Spain, as it houses the tomb of St. Teresa, who died there in 1582. FAQ
Can I purchase a land only package and arrange my own airfare?
Because this is a group pilgrimage, we strongly recommend traveling on the designated group flights. Traveling together allows us to coordinate airport transfers, motorcoach transportation, guides, hotel arrivals, and any unexpected flight delays as smoothly as possible for the entire group.
We understand, however, that occasionally a pilgrim may need to make separate air arrangements because of other travel plans or commitments. For a very limited number of participants, we may be able to offer a land-only option and deduct the applicable group airfare cost from the pilgrimage package.
Pilgrims arranging their own airfare are responsible for any additional hotel accommodations and ground transportation needed before joining or after leaving the group itinerary. They must also arrive in time to meet the group at the designated location and departure time, as the motorcoach and guides cannot be delayed for individual flight schedules.
Land-only requests are very limited and considered individually. Please contact JMJ Tours before making any independent flight arrangements.
Is the pilgrimage physically demanding?
We will have a Private Euro-coach bus most of the trip to drop us off as close to our destinations as possible. Walking is sometimes necessary especially in cities where bus access is limited. Travel between Lourdes and Paris is by the TGV High Speed train.
What room occupancy is the trip price based on?
Pilgrimage trip price is based on double occupancy (2 per room).
Are larger rooms available?
Yes, there is a very limited number of triple occupancy rooms available. 3 per room on a first come first serve basis. Please contact us for details.
Can I travel alone?
You can travel alone. Price is based on double occupancy. If you travel alone, we can attempt to match you with a roommate. If a roommate is not available 35 days prior to departure you will be required to pay the Single Occupancy Supplement. If you wish to have your own room, please select the Single Supplement option.
What is the departure Airport?
The pilgrimage departs from San Francisco International Airport. Flight details are available at the top of this page.
Is travel insurance required?
Travel / Trip insurance is not required but we strongly suggest you purchase a policy. Information available here online click here.
