Notre-Dame Cathedral Montréal • St. Patrick’s Basilica • St. Joseph’s Oratory • Notre-Dame du Cap-de-la-Madeleine • St. Anne de Beaupré • Notre-Dame Québec City

Embark on a spiritual journey tracing the early Catholic presence in the New World, initiated by 16th-century French settlers who crafted some of North America’s most exquisite churches and Catholic sanctuaries.
Our pilgrimage will take us to the renowned Catholic sites of Québec, retracing the footsteps of Pope John Paul II during his 1984 pilgrimage. Our pilgrimage begins in Montréal at the Shrine of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, followed by visits to iconic landmarks such as Notre-Dame Cathedral, Saint Patrick’s, and the awe-inspiring Saint Joseph’s Oratory—the largest shrine dedicated to Saint Joseph globally. Notre-Dame Basilica
Located in the heart of Old Montreal, the magnificent Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal is one of Canada’s most treasured religious landmarks and among the finest examples of Gothic Revival architecture in North America. Built between 1824 and 1829, the Basilica was the first Gothic Revival church in Canada and, upon its completion, was the largest church in North America.

St. Anne de Beaupré
Nestled along the shores of the St. Lawrence River just outside Quebec City, the Shrine of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré is one of the oldest and most beloved pilgrimage sites in North America. For more than 350 years, pilgrims have journeyed here to honor Saint Anne, the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary and grandmother of Jesus.

Cap de la Madeleine Sanctuary
Located in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, the Shrine of Our Lady of the Cape is one of Canada’s most important Marian pilgrimage destinations. Officially known as the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Cape, it has welcomed pilgrims for more than 300 years and is recognized as a place of prayer, peace, and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Old Quebec City
A UNESCO World Heritage Site and the only fortified city north of Mexico, Old Quebec offers visitors a unique blend of European charm, rich history, and vibrant culture. Stroll along its cobblestone streets, admire the historic architecture, and take in spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River. Highlights include the iconic Château Frontenac, the picturesque Place Royale, and the centuries-old churches and landmarks that reflect Quebec’s deep Catholic heritage.

Montréal City
Founded in 1642 as a Catholic missionary settlement, Montreal has preserved a rich spiritual and historical heritage alongside its modern cosmopolitan character. Visitors can explore charming Old Montreal, admire stunning landmarks such as Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal and Saint Joseph’s Oratory of Mount Royal, and experience the unique blend of French and North American cultures that defines the city.

Old Montreal
Step back in time as you explore Old Montreal, the city’s historic heart and one of North America’s most charming heritage districts. Founded in the 17th century, this beautifully preserved neighborhood is known for its cobblestone streets, elegant stone buildings, and rich French colonial character. Overlooking the St. Lawrence River, Old Montreal offers a unique blend of history, faith, culture, and European charm, making it a highlight of any visit to the city.

Ursulines Convent
Founded in 1639, the Ursuline Monastery of Quebec City is one of the oldest religious institutions in North America and a treasured part of Quebec’s Catholic heritage. Established by the Ursuline Sisters, who arrived from France to educate young girls in New France, the monastery has played a vital role in the spiritual, educational, and cultural history of Canada for nearly four centuries. Surrounded by centuries of history and just steps from many of Quebec City’s most important landmarks, the Ursuline Monastery provides an ideal setting for prayer, reflection, fellowship, and rest during your pilgrimage journey.
