Journey to the Holy Land, walking in the footsteps of Our Lord. Discover the little town of Bethlehem and the city of Jerusalem. Experience Christ’s home in Nazareth and behold the site of his first public miracle at Cana, where the mother of God beseeched this Son of hers to prolong the wedding feast. Pilgrims on this trip will also breath in the crisp air rising off the sea of Galilee, and perhaps even kick up the very sands that Peter once sat upon—mending his fishing net. After renewing our baptismal vows in the Jordan river, we will visit Jericho, the oldest city in the world followed by a swim in the Dead Sea (the deepest point on earth) We will spend four nights in Jerusalem and experience the life and passion of our Lord firsthand.
Jerusalem will feature visits to Dominus Flevit where He wept over the city, the Garden of Gethsemane and the Holy Sepulchre (Tomb and Calgary) Students will walk and pray the Via Dolorosa, (the actual Stations of the Cross) carrying a cross up through the Old City to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
